Tranmere have put physio Les Parry in temporary charge of the first team.
You couldn't make it up!!
Scunthorpe have had one of their most successful spells since putting their physio in charge IIRC

What would really help Tranmere fans at a time like this is asking the question, "Why did you let Ronnie Moore go?".

Peter taylor has gone from Wycombe too! Slightly more surprised by that than the Barnes/Mcateer situation, but given Taylors previous record of going when the going gets tough, its not that much of a surprise!
Makes me glad that the board decided not to follow up on him as an option, would probably have walked before the end of last season!!!

When I looked this week to see upcoming fixtures , I thought he's never gonna hang on till we play them at the end of the month. I was thinking easy win, just hope there still in disarray for a couple more weeks.

I saw the local news interviewing the good folks of Tranmere yesterday and they we're all supporting Barnes.
Silly, silly appointment though.

wasn't the barnsley manager (davey?) their physio prior to surprisingly-good-caretaker manager
nah it was nigel adkins who went from physio to one of the football league's best managers at scunthorpe

Of course Adkins had already managed previously.

I have a sneaky feeling that Tranny will do very badly and vying for relegation, crap manager.....poor team spirit and few players or new signings, theres a big disharmony at the club right now.
I guessed well too!

I've got to admit, it was a no brainer. I'd laugh if they won tomorrow under the physio !!
