After selling my ps3 to Fred a while back I decided to buy another ps3, which no doubt i'll sell again in a few months when i don't use it again.

I like driving games and wonder if anyone has any recommendations?

I love the Need for Speed games, so will have to get them and what Grand Theft Auto games can i get for a ps3? Just GTAIV?

Ages ago I won need for speed undercover (latest but one), just gave it a hizz thanks to this thread. Its OK, not sure I'll play it much TBH. Couldn't get online working at all, it just sat there "loading"

In fact, the last driving game I really enjoyed was Microprose Grand Prix (Atari ST).

Whits, I'm of the understanding the new NFS, Shift, is like Pro Street, which i hated. Is that true?

I liked NFS Underground 1 & 2 for the arcade style reckless racing and found that trying to make it a race sim was taking away what i loved most about it.

GRID looks good, i'll be venturing down that route thank you jayohaitchenn.

motorstorm is pretty good and you can pick it up cheap as chips now

Scalextric is good but I prefer the Matchbox Hotwheels set up, especially the loop.

NFS Shift is just like Pro Street Barry. So if you didn't like it don't bother. Wait for GT5 which will be the dogs bollocks.

The new Forza Racing looks like it will be very good. Unfortunately it's an Xbox game.

Forza 3 demo is quality. Think it might turn out to be better than GT5 which actually surprises me.

Race Driver:GRID is pretty good.

I play GRID on the PC and I can vouch its a damn good game, probably the best PC driving game so its good to hear its as good on the PS3.

I'll probably still buy it, after all GT5 isn't out until... And i like GT5 as a race sim, so why not giev NFS another chance.

That's just not possible. However if you are right, i won't mind because GT5 has fezzas and proper exotica for once. I also won't be able to own an Xbox, unless it's running linux and using an Xbox emulator. Because that's funny.

The return of Gran Turismo... God... I remember losing my life to GT1 and then GT2, i can't wait to experience a full version of GT on the PS3 by stinking an F1 car or an F40 around the Nurburgring Nordschleife. It makes me wet.
