I will confess to being unsure and convinced you were doing it to get me to explode. I'm amused, not annoyed. Good shot. Smiley

Well that's far from the first time that one of my attempts at humour on an internet forum has gone straight over everyone's heads. I believe the main flaw in my humour is the lack of relevant smiley's, which I refuse to use as I don't understand them and due to them being extremely gay.

I was hoping you'd call me a fucking pedantic cunt so I could go again, but unfortunately you didn't and the run had to come to an end.

I wanted to, but I was feeling defeated so threw in the towel. And smileys are the answer to everything.

Really. I'd have thought now the x-craptor single is out in the shops sales will rocket past RATM. Unfortunately.

Hmm. A shit single that would never get to number if it wasn't for the huge publicity of a tv show, or...a shit single that would never get to number one if it wasn't for daft twats buying it to stop another shit single getting to number one.

Pointless.

What's that got to do with anything? This is a shit single vs one of the best songs ever made, killing in the name of is an absolute classic.

Killing in the name of has sold 192,000 copies so far and has a lead of 60,000 http://www.google.com/hostednews/ukpress/article/ALeqM5iKmmN1-xKB1GDnVnOeIuMP-VTMNA, so it definitely has a chance although it's likely to be very close.

How can anything that pisses off Simon Cowell be branded pointless?

Although, ironically, RATM are signed to a subsiduary of Cowell's Sony BMG. He wins either way.

It may be a classic to you. To me it's shit.

Pissing off Simon Cowell isn't high on my list of things to do, it's just not that important to me.

Simon Cowell doesn't own Sony BMG, he works for them - his label is part of Sony the same as RATM's label is.

So Cowell will be getting fuck all out of RATM.
