Yep, that's what I did - gone for Oct 31 - knowing stfc are away and I wouldn't be going to the game.

Never got any tickets before for audiences and probably won't this time as I expect there will be so many applying but if you don't try and then you don't know

like all reality / 'talent' programs the 1st or 2nd are always the best, and they go downhil from there.

Way too much tinkering now for my liking....

Also, after reading chart throb by ben elton, cant take any of it seriously any more - have you ever thought its funny that the acts that make it to the final just happen to be covered in detail in the early stages, e.g. footage of them walking up to the audition centre, footage of them waiting in the waiting area etc etc. Its makes you wonder if just perhaps they are all selected beforehand....hmm, I wonder?!

You started well here, with "like all reality / 'talent' programs" but then trailed off - if you had continued with "this is complete and utter toss" you might have been closer to the truth.  Last point is pretty valid I would imagine.

Its light hearted Sat night fun!! I love it - the programmes up the to live shows are the best though - find the tedious weeks of singing after that a bit dull

Not sure Id want to buy any "goodies" though

If you are forced to watch it, guess if they are going to be good or not before they start singing.  This is actually very easy.  If their introduction involves them saying that they are very good "I'm like Tina Turner" etc, then they will be terrible.  If they have one or more of the following: dead/terminally ill relative, disability, facial disfigurement, they will be at least able to sing.  If any of that second group have background music in their introduction, they or one of the judges will cry at some point.  This rule hasn't failed me yet - not that "light-hearted saturday fun" is predictable, of course...

I hope the irish twins die.

Seriously.

Are they the ones that look like Trolls? If so Louis just put them through. Not that I'm watching it of course.

I think it's mandatory for Louis to put an Irish act through, even though they are complete and utter tossers !!
