Good to see Owen scoring, shows that he's still got it - hopefully he'll get more chances to play. I still reckon we need Owen back on form if we're going to stand a chance at the World Cup next year.

Due to the lack of World Cup quality forwards available for selection at this moment means that the door cannot be fully closed for Owen.

Owen's finish was composed and well executed but he's got a lot to do to change Fabio Capello's mind.

If Owen gets more minutes (and goals) in the United team then I don't see why Capello can't put him in the squad for the final two qualifying games.
