I knew a bit about Baker through the BBC's coverage - he almost always gets a mention due to his scoring exploits, think they've mentioned his brothers a few times though. Brilliant article.

My nephew was diagnosed with leukaemia a couple of years ago now.  I cant tell you how much I respect the way him and his immediate family have dealt with the upheaval in their life that this has caused, practically living in hospitals dealing with a constant battery of drugs and treatments.  I can only hope that he comes through it.  To be struck with this at the age of 5, or indeed any age, is terrible and I feel full sympathy to the chap for his loss and for playing his way through it.  And good for the Yeovil fans showing their respects as well.  I'd hope we would do the same.

Shankly wasn't serious when he said football is more important than life.  Its not.
