Reasonably happy with that, I suppose.  The wheels stay on.

Draw as predicted. Unbeaten run continues.

I cant say I am too dissappointed with a draw, still the unbeaten run continues, the injuries look like they could be a problem though.

Greer, worryingly. Sounded like he'd messed up his shoulder. Also Lucas beforehand and Tope's hamstring right at the end.

And Macca pulled up with his hamstring late on as well, but Greer sounded quite bad.

Thats not good news. Hopefully both injuries aren't too serious.

Thought we dominated that game and on the balance of play should have won. It was a weird one really. In the second half we could have won it but also lost it. At times it was end to end stuff. I thought Col U were pretty poor though. They were much as I expected. Defence minded and staying organised thus making it hard to break them down. We controlled the game in terms of possession and our general passing play was great at times. Thought their goal was fortunate but these things happen in football. We made some good chances. JP should have scored first half then Revell hit the bar and there was a chance for Ferry which he perhaps should have done better with.

Smith MOTM? Would love to know what game they were watching. He only had to make 2 or 3 saves. Thought Revell was very good. Runs runs and just keeps on running. Great awareness and has the ability to do a few skills. He reminds me a bit of Barry Corr only more mobile and slightly quicker. Tope took his goal really well but on the whole was a bit poor with his touches, passing and sometimes awareness. Don't think the lad has a great footballing brain.

I thought we played very well today.  I have to confess I was nervous when I heard that Lucas has injured himself in the warm up, mainly because I worried that P Smith wouldn't be as communicative with the back 4.  In Fairness, he stepped up, made a couple of good saves and didn't let us down.  He wasn't MOM though, that accolade should have gone to Greer (as usual!) for me.

Defence looked good again, especially how calm and composed Amankwaah and Lesc look on the ball - Mank especially going forward.  Scares the hell out of defenders!  Cuthbert is Cuthbert, solid, reliable and a very good CB pairing for Greer.

Douglas for me was the best player in midfield today.  Thought JP and Ferry were good also but Douglas seemed to get in more and battle more.

Revell looks like he is going to be a great signing - strong, not scared to challenge, drops back and wins the ball and all in all his distribution was pretty good throughout.  Definitely going to get goals and he was unlucky the long range shot didn't go in.

Hutchinson is definitely quite raw, however works hard and thought he did well today alongside Revell.  With a bit of work, he could do well and gives us another option up front.

Tope has to be one of the most frustrating players to watch - one minute hes greedy and doesn't pass or tries to take on defenders and lose possession, and then the next, he gets into a great position, controls it and scores a very good goal!

Very pleased overall as Colchester had some pretty big and strong players but we managed to battle and honestly thought we deserved the win.  Disappointing goal to conceed but unbeaten in 6 and playing better than I've seen in a long time.  Well done Danny Boy!

not sure why Wilson changed a winning team?

ok, I understand Smith for Lucas but not the rest?

Smith looked shakey, rusty but did well. Back 4 were solid - I thought they dealt with Platt well. Cuthbert was probablmy MotM.

Duggie was good infront of the back 4 with Ferry and JPM doing a decent job in the middle.

Hutchinson I thought was pretty poor. Not convinced. Topi was Topi, pretty good one minute sloppy the next. Took his goal well. Would like to see him play upfront!!

Revel, worked hard linked up with players well. Got into some good positions. Excatly how I probably would have described Paynter had he played. Would like to see them play upfront together but not convinced he'll offer us anything we dont already have.

apart from the first 5 minutes it was all us and we should have won. If we'd had a better final ball today we would have won.

I thought Hutchinson did alright, better than Tope anyway.

Personally i thought it was a rather forgettable game. As was said previously Colchester were very defensive and quite boring. Swindon have got some great potential in their players and playing style but ruin it all with pointless long hoofs up the field that go nowhere.

Revells shot was a screamer and Smith pulled of a great double save in the first half.

The lure of a half time pint made me miss obladi's goal.

Big round of applause to the groundstaff, the pitch looks fantastic.
