Any thoughts yet for this weekend?

A few World Cup qualifiers going on but it's hard to spot some of the value looking at the fixtures alone.

Leeds Vs Stockpork looks like a decent bet and I quite fancy us to nick a tight result away at Yeovil.  Couple in League Two stand out but I think I'll keep it quite tight this weekend.

Leyton orient at 11/5 with VC could be a nice price considering southend have only got 4 fit defenders and one of them is a youngster according to shrimperzone this week, worth a punt i reckon.

My bets

Southend v Orient  (away win) 11/5  Tonight
Southampton v Colchester (home win) 5/4
Torquay v Bournemouth (away win) 6/4

First bet of the year football wise for me:
6 five folds and 1 six fold - not feeling that confident but here we go:

Brighton Ev
Huddersfield 2/1
Norwich 4/6
Aldershot Ev
Dag & red 2/1
Port Vale 11/10

I've got 5 different accumulators this weekend.

My weekly "safe" one...

CHARLTON vs brentford
LEEDS vs. stockport
ENGLAND vs. slovenia
CROATIA vs. belarus
SPAIN vs. belguim
georgia vs. ITALY

£7 returns £32

**********************

Highest return one is..

gills vs exeter
southampton vs. COLCHESTER
yeovil vs. SWINDON
ENGLAND vs. slovenia

£3.50 returns £104

**********************

Second highest return is..

southampton vs. COLCHESTER
yeovil vs. SWINDON
georgia vs. ITALY
germany vs. south africa ( Eek)

£2 returns £92

**********************

brighton vs. wycombe
bris rovers vs. millwall
LEEDS vs. stockport
SPAIN vs. belgium
georgia vs. ITALY

£2.50 returns £50

**********************

Then stuck the colchester and leeds picks with all the most obvious international picks (except those which were like 1/100 or whatever)

so LEEDS, COLCHESTER, SCOTLAND, ENGLAND, HOLLAND, ITALY, TURKEY, AUSTRIA, GERMANY and SPAIN all to win. Thought the returns would be a bit better than what they were tbh. £2.80 stake returns £78.

Just goes to show how one sided many of those internationals are likely to be I suppose.

Stayed away from the Internationals and opted for a couple of trebles:

Charlton Vs Brentford (Home)
Leeds Vs Stockpork (Home)
Yeovil Vs Town (Away)

£10  Not 100% confident on any these.  I suspect Charlton or Leeds may come unstuck against decent opposition but couldn't see much else that looked any safer.

Cheltenham Vs D&G (Away)
Port Vale Vs Grimsby (Home)
Notts County Vs Northampton (Home)

£10

Again not much value aside from D&G which are a bit of a wild punt given their away form this season to date.

Chuffed if either comes in to be honest.

I think that's a pretty good bet. I picked those but not in the same combo.

What return are you getting on that tenner if it comes off?

£60 (ish) on that one Spy.  I'm less sure about Charlton than Town coming in to be honest, which makes a change.  I can see Brentford giving them a good run for their money.

Its the early kick off at 12.15 so hopefully it doesn't come unstuck so early.

just a few scorecasts... covered a few bases.

Defoe 3-0, 25s
Rooney 4-0, 22s
Terry 2-0, 60s
Lescott 1-0, 100s

I'm thoroughly expecting Lescott 3-0 or something equally annoying
