colchester used to be great, tatty pub on corner of layer road, terrace with low roof dead close to the pitch.

Was that the pub that was half home half away?

You can get the train in 3 and a half hours, but reservations always give you an hour to cross london, it's only 9 stops.

Wow, if I book now I can get the train from London for just over a tenner! (with a railcard)

3 and a half to 4 hours depending on the traffic and how you drive.
