I never knew the guy but used to play football against him on quite a regular basis.
His team used to be our main rivals in the abbey meads sunday night league. Always ended up us first them second. He always wore that american football jersey when he played in goal as well.
Pretty decent keeper and seemed a nice lad. Town fan as well.
What a really shitty time for it to happen. So young and hours before the birth of your first child. That really is fucking shit....

Very sad that he should die so young, let alone in those circumstances. Gotta feel for the family too, especially his partner.
I don't suppose this was one of the Town fans wearing an American football jersey at Victoria on the way to Pikeyland was it?
