Admittedly we have been saying that one striker isn't enough, and yes, I agree that we need more bodies up front as well as a couple of others around the pitch - here's the but... BUT Billy P did fantastic on Tuesday against the Dongs and has shut a few people up on here about his ability.
Those two goals will give him so much confidence and spur him on for Saturday's game so just leave it til after the Dongs match to bring somebody in. I reckon DW will be very cautious now not to upset him by bringing in somebody before Saturday as BP has got his confidence back.
DW will probably bring someone in know that I've said it and prove me wrong!!

Even if it's not true this time, it will be at some point ie Paynter will get injured/suspended/whatever and we're then down to 0 senior strikers. Has anyone mentioned we should sign a striker? Possibly even two? |
