Nothing on the Plymouth official site though. Just from the Aberdeen forum.

Wouldn't surprise me, his best buddy isn't chairman anymore.

Having since read the article, it's rubbish Smiley

Their fans are sick of losing potential transfer targets to Plymouth.

Pedant alert.

Why in the players section?

That's somebody on a wind up.  Sacked him because he didn't sign Ifil?

Can't see it!

They think Sturrock goes for all their targets out of some vendetta.

Maybe if the knew that Sturrock was a manager here, and wouldnt touch him with a bargepole then maybe they would get a bit worried.

Bloody hell, that's an headline bad enough to make the Adver and Neville wince.

Edit: Actually, the Scottish seem to have a talent for puns, I particularly like this one http://www.sportinglife.com/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=soccer/09/07/16/SOCCER_Celtic.html

They are one of the best teams in Scotland and they've signed Nelson and Ifil... that gives you an indication of just how far behind the SPL is I suppose!

Apart from the Old Firm there just isn't the money in Scottish football for the other clubs to challenge. Hearts, Aberdeen, Dundee United and maybe Motherwell who are fighting for 3rd have to make do with players from the lower leagues in England these days. Apart from Hearts actually who still pay pretty big wages even though they can't really afford to!

Jerel-brate? That is one of the worst play on words I've ever heard AND sounds too close to 'Jail Bait' for my liking....

Good times and jail bait should be found in the same sentence more often.

Cambodian tourist board slogan 2009?

Is the Socks top league in decline? I don't think I ever noticed players and even managers as far down as league one and two vying between Jocks Premier league quite like they have done over the past three years.

Championship is different case but I can’t remember them ever rummaging quite so low for player until the past three years.

Yep. Definately in decline. Setanta going bust isn't going to help either. Remember a couple of seasons back a player turned Hibs down to join Shrewsbury as they could offer more money.
