Seems more likely now that with Ifil's move imminent, his wage will immediately go on signing a striker - which is where I think the 'very hopefull' from Wilson comes from - very possible that Ifil's wage will go towards offering City a higher percentage to loan Trundle I reckon.

Said to my dad the opening game of the season means nothing in all honestly, Norwich also proved that tonight by wacking 4 past Yeovil. In some ways, for the first week of the season the players are still in friendly mode, and need that real match sharpness again. Friendlies don't replicate that, which is why they're meaningless.

Anyway, credit to Wilson and the lads tonight, lets build on it Saturday, no doubt Ince will have them fired up after a battering, much like we were tonight.
