Double disaster for David

IF you want proof that lightning really does strike twice in the same place, look no further than Town goalkeeper David Lucas.

Those supporters made their feelings clear with a colourful chant of their own as Swindon’s players trudged down the tunnel in front of them, and Lucas knows there is only one way to win back their respect.

“The fans have told us what they think, and that’s exactly what we think too,” admitted the keeper.

Anyone enlighten me on what the 'colourful chant' was...?

Wasn't so much colourful chanting as individual comments on the teams performance. Although there was a bit of 'you're not fit to wear the shirt'.

I'm prepared to give Lucas the BoD tbh because he was left totally exposed to a piss poor defence.

I do hope Timlin gets dropped i know it's one game but there was just no effort at all from him at least Douglas tried.

It's blindingly obvious that more and more teams will use pace to score goals and if we persist with our slow back four i can see us getting tonked over & over.

Ifil going is a big mistake, yes he makes the odd calamity but he is our only defender with pace in the team

I've watched the goals and dont really think Lucas was to blame, well none of them were shockers anyway.

Yep, I presumed that was the chant the article referred to. And as Lucas says, we had a point.
