Johnson apparently stuck him in his own "fat club" preseason where any players who came back out of condition had to do extra training.
With any luck he'll be half way to full fitness.

To be fair, if you lose 5-0 in the middle of the season it usually takes a month to recover.
I dont know what happens when you lose 5-0 on the opening day, because Ive never seen it happen before.

Wasn't that the score in our first Premiership match? Thought the first 2 resultes were 5-0 and 5-1 (Lpool & soton)

Adver reckon that Wilson would be looking to do a permanent deal rather than a loan...not so sure about that. Could be a very good player no doubt, but could also turn out to be a huge elephant in the room if he turns up weighing 20 stone on a 2 year deal.
