Nile Ranger isn't any better than what we've already got.

perhaps not loans but let's splash some cash on this lad, Mohammed Abdellaoue - promising talent in norway, prolific record, young, would be an excellent partner for paynter and i can personally recommend him.

at the other end of the scale we could plump for lillestrøm's all time top scorer and lucky 13 in the all time top scorers in the tippeligaen, Arild Sundgot - a tall and strong striker with plenty of top-flight experience.
is it true that were looking at Arlid Sundgot. sonic have you been sending your suggestions to dw?

Agreed...got to buy not loan, loan players as cover for injuries are ok.

Disagree Leef. If we can get in a couple of season long loans I'd be happy. There's quite a few youngsters in the top two divisions that would be available, with more ability than most of those we could pick up for a fee.

Our last loan striker (Not to be confused with lone striker) was Simon Cox. He didn't do too bad, did he?

Nile ranger is a quality young striker, we had him on trial last pre-season( played at salisbury) and newcastle promptly snapped him up, has played well alongside Delfounso for the U19s in the ukraine. have a feeling he will be around the Newcastle first team this season though
Bauza from Swansea would be worth a look, out of favour last season, scored a hatfull of goals for their reserves (inc 3 past us.) small and quick with a good record

Obika at Spurs is one as well. Yeovil fans raved about him when he was on loan there last season.

I don't believe we missed out on Julian Alsop to Cheltenham. Absolute shit lack of ambition.

I'm not in loop with regard to the goings on at shitty. You're probably right. I know Spurs were looking for a Championship club for him.
