Like most Polish goalies,   will end up being an amazing shot stopper but prone to the odd big mistake  (re Boruc vs N Ireland)

or kuszczak vs columbia.

Im quite happy with that, (as i would be) but as stefpol mentioned some of the best keepers of recent times have come from poland, dudek, boruc, then theres fabianski and kuszczak, and then krysiak in the arse reserves, not to mentions the clown tomaszewski,

I think hes been signed as the eventual replacement for Smith, Smith has only signed a one year deal IIRC and with a drop in form then this lad will be on the bench.

But he is certainly one for the future and was seen as too good to miss out on I am sure.

From what I have seen of Scott I dont think hes progressed as well or as fast as the club would have wished but this lad may well push Smith for a place on the bench if Lucas does start the season which I think he probably will....injuries barring.

DW confirmed on the official site that he is one for the future and may be loaned out to get regular games.

Its very short sighted to say we dont need three keepers..when Brez broke his arm and Smith came in we had no back of to speak of at all.....its a very good signing though if i was young Scott,,not so sure.

Correct..you can never ever ever have too many keepers. Makes me think of the time when Digby got injured and Talia got injured then Mildenhall came in and played a blinder but got booted in the bollocks and we had to play QPR midweek and we couldn't get anyone on loan and they were talking about the possibility of an outfield player playing in goal and Digby ended up playing but was not even close to being fit but we won anyway and then we got Tony Warner in on loan for the next game and he was a bit crap...

...or something like that.

Anyway, moral of the story..lots of keepers=good.

I liked Bartek...shame he disappeared.

OST if you're a proper big club, then you can afford to carry 3 keepers for an emergency, otherwise, it should be 2 and loan one in for an emergency.

Given our stated aim for this season of quality not quantity, seems a bit strange to be paying the wages of 3 keepers.

20 is still young, but too old for the reserves? My opinion, loaned out then ready for next season?

Loan him to Oxford. He'll get plenty of goalkeeping practice there.

On the OS in Danny's interview, he says that they had been looking a number of young Polish
keepers over the last 6 months.
