Just watching the repeat, missed the start of this pitch but from what I can make out this geezer is asking the Dragons for some gambling money to play poker with.

Bit like asking your mates to sub a quid or two for the fruit machine.

BBC scraping the barrel here. Makes me think one of my business ideas might be able to get onto the next show.

Watch this space.

Someone banging on about health and safety now.

Theo has just referred to his children's inheritence again.

Boringhell.

I would rather invest in a sleeping bag attached to a propeller

Gambling on fruit machines is nothing like poker. Poker you can consistently win at, fruit machines you can't unless it's an incredibly badly programmed machine and I don't think there are any any more. I wouldn't have invested in that guy though, although there are plenty of players I would and would definitely be great investments. His tournament record was pretty poor live with only one major cash, he doesn't play online much and he seemed to think 30 tournaments was some kind of long run. He's apparently a reasonable cash player though.

This is the graph of England's best poker player Ben Grundy's online play fwiw. It shows over $5m of profit over enough hands to show he's not just lucky.

I would definitely buy a % of him if I could.
