I know it's a meaningless friendly but you can't help it.
I know you can only beat what's put in front of you, but Newcastle are no pushovers.

I always seem to defend the Geordies to a degree. Yes, they are absolutely without doubt the laughing stock of the football league. However, not all of their fans think they'll go straight back up... Many think quite the opposite - ask yourself how on earth anyone can think positively in their situation? Many of our lot are lethargic because we haven't got enough strikers - they have a self-enforced embargo, half of their squad doesn't want to be there, their owner wants out and not many really want to take the job on. On the local radio Bob Moncur has been warning their lot that going straight back up would be quite unlikely given their situation since the day they got relegated. I think I'd be the same, sat in Wiltshire looking up. Newcastle deserve to be where they are and it really is quite amusing - but some things are so sensationalised it amuses me more Losing to Orient 6-1 is awful regardless of what line-up they put out.

83min - LEYTON ORIENT GOAL (5-1): RYAN JARVIS steals a yard on Ben Tozer to burst clear before side footing with confidence past Fraser Forster from eight yards.
