Think it must be age catching up with me, but the thought of going to Luton on a wet Tuesday night for a meaningless friendly, just doesn't do it. Generally speaking Luton is best avoided if at all possible.

On the basis of absolutely nothing I predict we'll draw or lose tonight - not that it matters. Should be a decent run out for them though.

only seems a minute ago we went there and dicked them 3-0.

Fallon at the double and a goal from fucking Hewlett I think.

In that time we've gone down to L2 and back to L1. Luton have gone up from L1 to the Championship, down from the Championship to L1, down from L1 to L2 and down from L2 to the Oxford League.

Luton have good squad blending youth and experience. It's not an easy league to get out of as Oxford and friends have shown, but they've done well to keep players like Tom Craddock.

Their line-up tonight shows that they really shouldn't be in the BSP - but rules are rules etc.

LUTON: Mark Tyler; Keith Keane, Alan White, George Pilkington, Jake Howells; Adam Newton, Asa Hall, Kevin Nicholls, Andy Burgess; Liam Hatch, Tom Craddock

Subs: Claude Gnakpa, Aaron Fletcher, Ed Asafu-Adjaye, Ian Roper, Drew Talbot, George Beavan, Kevin Gallen, Lewis Emanuel, Adam Watkins
