How was the new style test? I fancy doing it when i'm unemployed in a couple of months time and have some spare time and money to get it over and done with intensively.
Can't help with your question though!

What do you mean by places to go? Good roads?
The best biking road in England is generally thought to be the A537 from Buxton to Macclesfield. It's where the famous Cat and Fiddle in is, a regular biker hang-out. Plenty of coppers about there these days though and also plenty of dickheads who think they're the next Valentino Rossi who'll quite happily take you out on a blind bend.

All motorcyclists should be directed to beachy head, well 99%, there's about 1% who realise the speed limit applies to all road users.

Actually, it's more like 1% are idiots who spoil the reputation of bikers for the other 99%. Again, I refer to my previous comment of the dickheads who think they can jump on a bike and immediately become some kind of riding god.

A sweeping statement dear Sutton.
Well living up here, for every motorcyclist that observes a 40mph, there are 99 who clearly think 40 actually means 70. There has been 2 killed directly outside my house this year, both due to excessive speeding. That advert about watching for them carefully makes me laugh, if they were sensible you would be able to see them. I had one undertake me on the M3 a couple of weeks back, i was doing 80 and was coming back into the middle, how i missed him i have no idea, so i stand by that statement.

I can see your point and almost completely agree with all you say, but isn't the speed limit 70 mph and not 80mph?

I dont as a rule, but when you have miss daisy's myopic sister pull into the middle doing 40, sometimes you need to get round quick.
