according to AF interview on bbc sport he was released to come to use. indicating we paid a fee

if he cost money, why not just say we bought him?
from what i've read he wasn't wanted anymore,and was released.

  Judging by the reactions on this post, I think that the penny has dropped with a few, that without probably 4, if not 5 quality players for this league, then we're in a bit of trouble.

 Still time though so no need to panic just yet.

 I think Paynter will be a  key figure, I suspect Wilson might see him as the man who can up his scoring rate and replace some of Cox's goals.

I think there have been quite a few of us who have felt 'concerned' but with the air of optimism
from fans and from the club,we haven't wanted to say too much.

We can still bring some decent players in and as i've said before,we may have to look at the
loan market.I've suggested the striker Obika from Spurs who was on loan at Yeovil and i hope
that we can get HRK back from Reading.
