£28k for Ince?

He was only here a month wasn't he?

And I am pretty sure I remember at the time a big deal was made about James Wills paying for him from his own pocket.

Oh.

We were "on the brink of signing him" for a far longer period than his actual Swindon career.

He won us a penalty against Franchise - that'll do for me.

Funnily enough I was sat in the directors box for the Stockport game, with the Guvnor lounged out across the seats in front of me, and his bassa kids running amock. He signed the week following.

Absolute huge time.

so ince came into work tonight, i only noticed seconds before he upped and left - which is odd given he was standing at my end of the bar - so was unable to regail him of my 'you could have made name for yourself' quote at wrexham and more importantly wish him the very worst of luck for the coming season.  shame.

still i guess he'll be back in at some point, i'll keep you posted.
