Whilst i can understand Fitton's frustration and annoyance with Robinson, his agent and Watford FC,it might have been better to have just quietly walked away from this deal.
If the Media had asked about Robinson,he could of just said "He wasn't for us".
I'm sure we'll find somebody better and who is happy to come to STFC.

i expect thats why he has subtly announced it was for 200,000 - hudderesfield must have offered a lot more, and this is just to let them know exactly how much they have been stitched up for

It's like when Andy King was in charge in terms of announcing our targets etc.... then they slip through our fingers! Let's just keep it quiet until we sign someone!

I'm pretty sure Watford made it very public that we had bid for him, and Brighton and Southend etc. It's clear they were and allegedly still were today, trying to get interest stoked up to get some cash in - they are not in a good financial place.

It's ok everyone moaning at Fitton but it was Wilson that said he had agreed to sign. Alot of agents never got what they were owed in the past of us. It will take longer than the 19 mnths that fitton has been here to prove we are a total different club now.

Agreed DRS...but Fitton moaning about agents and greed is silly.its part of the game and as soon as Fitton said Robinson had agreed verbally with DW...i knew he wouldnt be here, could be a bleesing in disguise anyway him not coming....it wasnt a signing that inspired me with great optimism though obviously Wilson really rated him.

I must admit I was looking forward to him coming, he seems a good prospect, but, if hes motivated purely by money and greed then he can fuck off.
