Jon Stewart's now been sacked by Bournemouth for repeated breaches of club discipline. Tut tut.

What the hell has happened to Matt Heywood?

Released by Barrow and now playing for Buxton - at the age of 31.  He was made captain at Grimsby a couple of seasons back but he seems to have dropped to the depths since being released for shocking form.

He was never the greatest player but he was a solid league one defender that could turn in a few decent performances.  At 31 he should still be doing the business and he doesn’t appear to have to many injury problems, shitty aside.

A guy at work went to his wedding last year. I thought he said Heywood has dodgy knees or something like that. Pro clubs not wanting to touch him.

Might be wrong.

Andy King wasn't only a genius at signing random players, he apperently got the best out of them too. Even if van der Linden ended up hating him.

Top 5 technical ability footballers over the last 10 years:

1. Ian Woan
2. Migz.
3. van der Linden

He was the highest earner at Barrow but was sacked without playing. Two reasons were rumoured: a) training ground fight and b) declaring himself injured when in fact he was attending a college course to help with the impending demise of his totalling career

Don't know which, if either, are true.
