Matt Heywood is still only 31.

To think, he left us to join Bristol City for the "security". Five years later he's playing for Buxton.

Was Nicho that bad a pish head?

I know he enjoyed a beer or three but not to the extent where it would have fucked up his career.

Heywood consistently inconsistent.  One game solid the next a liability a bit like the Beast.

I liked 'em both, but they did get progressively worse...

It's pretty crazy how quickly a team King got to the Play off semi's all quickly dropped out of football.

In fairness, they've done a fine job.

Have to say Malpas is well thought of up here...maybe with Butcher taking the overall responsibility away, Malpas has a better chance to let his gifts shine!

I haven't looked through and I don't know if anyone else has said this but Sammy Igoe is at Havant and Waterloovile and Iffy Onura is managing the Ethiopia national team.

Iffy has been mentioned a few times.

And Igoe has found his level, on his day a good performer, but his days were too few and far between.

He was a crowd faviorate at the town though, its seems that most crowd faviorates don't go on to do very well. For example Parkin, Comminges, Paynter.

Paynter hasn't been fit since before the play offs in fairness to him.

Yeah, and it doesn't look like he will get back in easily with Bechio doing so well.

Malpas is  a great number 2, at number 1 he was number 2's!

Igoe is also really old now, pretty standard for a decent FL pro to drop to Conference South at his age. Used to love him up here, 03/04 he was magic.
