It's certainly the only ground where I've seen the Town players given a guard of honour by our opposing team. It was the next game after we'd sealed the 85-86 Div 4 title at Mansfield..........just looked that game up out of interest, and I note that Bobby Barnes and Gary Johnson were in the Aldershot team that night.

Meanwhile Barry Corr has signed a pre-contract agreement to join Luggy at Southend once their embargo is lifted.
Hope he doesn't try to help lifting anything as his back is sure to go.
