In delightfully random news, Matt Hewlett came into my work today to talk to my boss, who's a Bristol City fan. After he left, I asked my boss why he was there and apparently he now runs a Sandwich store and delivery service in Bristol with his brother.

I told my boss the story about him leaving, but couldn't remember which way round the alleged issue between Gurney and Hewlett was- am I correct in thinking it was the way round you wouldn't expect? He (boss, not Hewlett) found it hilarious in any case.

From what I remember, Gurney was doing Mrs Helwett and then Matt Hewlett found out and then beat up Gurney and broke Gurneys wrist!

Which, made no sense.

So that's where John Terry got the idea then

Ady Williams has today taken over as Bedford Town's manager. Brave move as they have no money and look to be going down from the southern league premier. Wasn't he as Supermarine? Only asking cause they won at Bedford last night so i guess the talking/offers went on then.

Wow you live it up! Did you take in any of the other outstanding bits of Bedford whilst you were there? (the river is nice, the embankment part anyway).

Went to a gig in Bedford a few years ago, can't remember the place, but it was small, only could've held about 200 (if that).

Probably Esquires? It's the only decent venue we have, and it is small.
