Matt Ritchie to Reading

I know when Ritchie signed for Pompey he made a big thing about coming back closer to his home to finish his career.

He wasnt a big fan of travelling to Swindon daily previously and never moved to the area which was part of the reason he joined Bournemouth.

I cant see him being willing to travel too far from his home with possibly "basket case" club Reading being the closest viable destination if that is still the case.

Was it Flynn that brought Delaney in?

Sam Sherring looks set to join them from MK so would be suprised if they signed both.

Cheltenham are desperate for a CB and he knows Flynn but he wants a move North of Manchester, I wouldnt be surprised to see him move to Morecambe if he hasnt lined up a move to a league club come deadline day. He can still move to a team in the National after deadline day.

Good call Wink

Mind you, if he didn't like travelling to Swindon before it's not much further than Reading, I'd have thought.

I'd take him back on loan. I think we're a bit light in midfield and could do with a player like him.
