The difference though is Smith hasnt come out in interviews to slate Cambridge either the club or fans as Flint did to us, Smith has never said anything publically on the subject so it was just literally a failed bid by Cambridge, we priced them out of a move for one of our most important players. We, as fans, questioned any possible move as it seemed to be a downwards move albeit to a club with a much higher budget and wage structure than we have got. If any of the 200 or so Cambridge fans that turn up have any beef with him then thats their problem and not Smiths. |
