Sobowale and Freckleton both on the bench for St. Mirren v Celtic this afternoon.

Sobowale comes on, lays on a great chance within 30 seconds

Brilliant tackle by Sobowale near the end of the game. Ultimately in vain though.

Miles Obodo has signed a 1 year deal with Reading u21’s. Perhaps recommended by Sean Wood who is now Reading u18’s assistant manager.

Alzate confirmed at Atlanta - will get to see him again, which should also be quite cheap given how poor Atlanta are right now (Atlanta price games individually).

Quick question re Flint, has he got a beef with STFC, the fans, both or not at all? Don't think there was any fan animosity when he left, but the "No, no, no" bollocks and the stuff from Saturday got me wondering.  Hmmm

He’s just playing to his audience. At City it endeared him to their fans.

No doubt Harry Smith will get grief from however many Cambridge fans turn up because, in their minds, he didn’t press to join them - so, in fact, personally rejecting them.

It’s all fucking nonsense obviously, but it’s the merry-go-round of bollocks that’s a part of the game we love.

Flint was absolutely loving it on Saturday.

I hate him, but also wish we had him.

The difference though is Smith hasnt come out in interviews to slate Cambridge either the club or fans as Flint did to us, Smith has never said anything publically on the subject so it was just literally a failed bid by Cambridge, we priced them out of a move for one of our most important players.

We, as fans, questioned any possible move as it seemed to be a downwards move albeit to a club with a much higher budget and wage structure than we have got.

If any of the 200 or so Cambridge fans that turn up have any beef with him then thats their problem and not Smiths.

It all started in 2014 when we beat Bristol City and Nathan Thompson went over to their fans celebrating resulting in hand bags being thrown amongst the players.

Mandela Egbo firing shots on twitter

Quote
I went to ‘keep fit’ with Swindon in January 2022. From my second day there they said they wanted to offer me a deal if it was something I wanted. Two days later I told them I’d do it. They messed me around until March then I played for £500 a week
