They said his football was boring Cheesy

It was - that doesn’t change because he’s doing well elsewhere.
It was fucking tedious.

Very true but beggars can’t be choosers what do the fans want boring football that keeps you in and around the play offs or Flynn/Gunning style which has resulted in the lowest league position of all time.

I think if we had kept Flynn til the end of the season we’d be better off than we are now.

Gav just doesn’t have a clue.

At least we had a degree of defensive competence when Lindsey was in charge.
This is to some extent why Crawley are as high in the table currently - apart from the 6-0 loss at the CG they haven’t conceded many goals, and hence they have eked out those 1-0 wins rather than letting in last minute equalisers.
The squad Lindsey had last year was short of attacking power, but we were still in or around the play offs when he left.
I think he would do a better job with the present lot than either Flynn or Gunning.

Genesini involved in two clean sheets in a row for Yeovil Town in the National League South, who are destined for promotion to the National League.

Watched Banbury vs South Shields tonight.

Tom Broadbent and Martin Smith playing for South Shields - they won 3-0 and Banbury lost their tenth game in a row. Broadbent probably had one of the easiest games of his life, didnt have to make a tackle all game.

I dont half pick shite football teams

I as there and met up with both of them at the final whistle.
Was in the South Shields end with my Swindon hat on. Got to know Martin Smith really well albeit his brief time with us. Lovely lad.
Broadbent is huge, won everything at the back. He is well aware of his legendary status at Swindon 😂

Banbury are awful, dreadful conditions, Shields were just better all over the pitch.
Good banter from the Banbury fans though singing about ten in a row.
The no 7 from Shields look a lively little player as did the no 9.

You were of the 30 in the away end then!

Awful weather and the football is rancid at the moment. Doesnt help that the new manager doesnt have a fucking clue - he hadnt managed anyone since 2016 ffs. Be better off if they kept the previous manager tbh. Bit like STFC to be honest.

Already planning Southern League away days for next season!

Shield number 9 has 26 goals this season which is a very decent return

Should have met up in the Bell for a few 🍺🍺
Was with my youngest. Spoke to a few Banbury lads walking out of the Ground, they are sick of it and reckon some of the players not interested. Feel their pain Mate.
Good honest football isn’t it, no rolling around.
I know Ronnie Johnson from years back, don’t think he has much to do with it now.

On another note, was talking to a guy at Banbury last night who was on the board at Glentoran.

Speaking about Jordan Stewart and how he was homesick and STFC didnt really look after him well.

He went to back to Ireland, signed for Linfield who are their rivals. Once he signed for Linfield he had his house and car done over!

Not even a religion thing as Linfield and Glens are both protestant but they do fucking hate each other.

I've got a grandparent from each area in Belfast, so no preference for me.
