Was he proved wrong though?

Proved wrong about what? I mean he said things that were totally bollocks. Best start over ten games he had apparently at the club for so many years, when we had the same points and a higher goal difference the literal year before while he was at the club.

Talking shite about we expected an Alex Ferguson level manager.

He's just a liar and wanker.

Doesn’t stop you being a good manager, look at Wellens.

The difference is Wellens is a good manager & Lindsey isn’t

Seemingly Mansfield had their fans forum last night and in January 2023 we offered Louis Reed to them for 25k. An offer which they gleefully accepted.

They did say small fee from their end at the time. Wages off book for a player wrongly or wrongly not playing much.

Sad times.

The number of recent ex Swindon players playing in promotion chasing sides.  We are so in decline, keep this up and we'll be non league within 14 months (if not 2)  Bad Mood

Yet again, we took the money (any money) and ran.

Desperate for £25k yet get done for an easily avoidable £10k fine.

The growing trade creditors size in the recent accounts shows we are likely not paying people we owe, either as quickly as we were previously, or in full or at all.  Cash comes in, cash does not go out as fast (which is what got us the previous transfer restrictions).

I would imagine it depends on who owns these companies. I bet the security and fitness teams are being paid on time

To be fair you'd hope the fitness team would be experts in keeping knees working well, that's completely above board.

and saved wages.

Like I said before, the manager wasn't playing him, we were going nowhere and so it made sense.

But it's also a symptom of taking good experienced pro players and replacing them with worse.

Not sure that's the full picture. Reed had played 20 games that season, he wasn't a key player but he was plenty involved. He also left four days after Lindsey and before Morris was appointed - he couldn't have not been in the managers plans because we literally didn't have a manager at the time.
