Anyone remember the big centre half we had on loan from QPR but got injured straight away so was sent back. Just wondering if his career progressed.

I think this is where the difference is - tons of dreadful players have played for Town, but almost all were dropped immediately. Kovar had a long run in the side, 20 plus games and I can't think of many who did that who were as poor Of course, when he was finally dropped it was for Joe Fryer who was worse! Still, young guy may well have improved out of sight. It happens. |
