I thought Flint was one of the best defenders I'd seen at the club - Blood and thunder and a threat in the opposition box. Like Bambi on Ice with the ball.

Morrison very similar.

Time to look forward though, not back.

Not sure anyone is advocating signing either of them for us TBH.

Either would be a good signing for us, in reality. People need to stop getting in a tizzy about signing ex players. At the end of the day if a player works for us and is available then they're worth signing.

Neither particularly realistic anyway I shouldn't think. Definitely not if we're in this league still.

Not suggesting they were. Just stating my opinion on them both.

I'd like 'an' Aiden Flint type player in the side but not 'the' Aiden Flint

TBH JOB is a Flint type player but one that can also pass the ball. I would have JOB back next season if we could.

I think a Sean Morrison would work in our team with a CB a bit more comfortable on the ball.

Flint too, but most people wouldn't have him back for other reasons.

I wouldn't fancy any of the other ex players recently released to be honest, even in League 2. I think we can do better.

I’d take either but not both. Those two do not compliment each other as a pairing.

Is still take that Austin fella up top, unlikely as it is…

Wonder whether the 31 year old Delfouneso would offer more than Davison? Probably not. He didn't for Bolton nor Bradford this year. The others I'm not even wasting braain power on.

Flint or Morrison an easy yes. Flint managed to piss City fans off as well when he went to Cardiff so that's water under the bridge as far as im concerned.

All other names are an easy no thank you.

Wouldn't mind Sheff Weds letting us have Luongo back though.
