My recollection may be flawed, but I seem to recall that a number of posters held him in the highest regard and tipped him for great things.

I thought Jonny Smith was average at best.
Well he's clearly better than L2 and had to play under Town's shittest manager in history (both application and attitude) to date. He always deserved better, much like like both Matt Smith and Tyler Smith. Disgusting how Tyler Smith was treated. They were all wasted as young, developing players when eventually under the steerage of both HMS Dinosaur Piss Up & Tommy "They are grown men!" Briber

Well they are all currently playing above the level that Town are at so, I would suggest they are carving successful football careers. Tyler Smith with Hull in the Championship Matt Smith still contracted to Arsenal and on loan at Doncaster in L1 Jonny Smith with Burton in L1 They're all good professional footballers and the oldest (Jonny) is only 24. Plenty of time to still get better and play higher (Champ is prob the limit for all, unless Matt gets a breakthrough at Arsenal - he's been close previously). I'd say with years in hand, judgement is still to be made so don't be a twat JBZ #LoveYou

I hope that Jonny Smith is also achieving similar success at Burton Albion. I haven't been following div 3 this season.
On the Burton forum they think hes one of the stand out players in a poor season and in line as a candidate for POTY.

On the Burton forum they think hes one of the stand out players in a poor season and in line as a condidate for POTY.
I noted and second this also. I think it's always more telling in a poor season where the better (or at least more determined/professional) players are. In a good season, an average and maybe below average player can be carried a little (even a non pro can be when there is a great season - see the Maidstone Moaner aka Taylor Cunt; it's shocking that someone like that has images of him holding a Football League Division Trophy, has a League Winners medal and wore the armband! Something I don't doubt a few on here would've have been more capable of and certainly better footballers than that twat - I include myself in that but then the bar is fucking low) from time to time. During a poor season, the better players do tend to stand out...some may argue that in a poor team/season that the level doesn't have to be as great but I'll still say it shows professionalism and good focus to do the job they are paid to do. ~~~ On another note, what's a "condidate" JJ - Is it where things like salt, pepper, sauce and suchlike go to get to know each other better?

I think you missread I still like the word though. Think it's the Spike Milligan in me (not literally but then in actual writing sense, it may well could be! What a canundrum!) sp. - Canundrum - can-un-drumm - A form of baked bean tin which can also be hit to make a tune. Often used by The Giant Mouse "Canundrum Band".

Kovar for Burton, 3 games, 3 clean sheets!
Kovar now has played 4 games for Burton and kept 4 clean sheets after last nights 2-0 win vs high flying Rotherham. https://www.staffordshire-live.co.uk/sport/football/kovar-smile-face-week-6958365Also Billy Bodin grabbed his 6th goal (4 assists) in 22 games for them up the road.

Simon Cox leaves Billericay Town FC, where he was first team coach, following the sacking of the manager with a few games to go.

He had only been there 3 months and not that long ago was "loving it". https://www.echo-news.co.uk/sport/19946378.ex-southend-united-striker-simon-cox-loving-every-second-billericay-town/

Harry Toffolo on the scoresheet for Huddersfield this evening. In his pre-match quiz against a team mate the answer to the question for his career highlight so far was the playoff final defeat against Preston.

I was disappointed that we didnt sign him. He looked as if he was a real role model of a footballer.
