"“I scored a goal against Oxford - that’s a massive derby"

was that the JPT? I've genuinly forgotten who he scored against.

I agree he shouldn't get personal abuse on social media.

But claiming his dad didn't pay his wages - if there was no financial input from his dad it makes things even more odd.

still, it's over now

"I had a couple of Football League offers" hmmmm.

“At the end of the day the manager is not going to get told to play X, Y or Z, because he wants to win games and keep his job.

“I wouldn’t have played 15-odd games if the manager didn’t believe in me.

“He’d have put someone else on the bench. It’s absolutely mad."

Ordinarily one would believe that a statement like this wouldn't make a lot of sense but with Bodgitt and Scarper in charge and El Dino running the line, it absolutely does.

To be honest, it's probably best both parties draw a line under this. TC isn't going to help his cause wittering on about it to the local press. He needs to move on and prove he can play football. (probably at the current level he is at)

Thing is, I am not convinced Sheridan did want to win football matches, and it was very clear that his job retention did not depend upon it.

For reasons unknown I am ever more concluding  that the objective from November at least was to make sure we went down.

I think that’s a given. Power wanted to make sure there were no other parties interested in buying the club other than ‘Able’. The club had to appear to have absolutely nothing going for it.

Whatever Clem does from now on, prising the club from Power’s grasping fingers is tops.

Just try to imagine the scenario now with Power still at the helm.

I would also be interested to see if any large wagers were placed on our relegation round November time?

What you are saying to the layman sounds absolutely ludicrous, but with the value of the hindsight we now have, perfectly believable.

He used to be our manager, a character easily forgotten.... Wink

You obviously mean Abdulla, he came on loan from Wet Spam and played about 4 or 5 games for us, was not very good.

Does he really think we’re that stupid?! Multiple offers from from football league clubs yet chose national league south instead?! What a bullshitter!
