Perfection is not attainable

Sharpe was awful, he played 1 game in the mickey mouse cup home to Luton, came on a short term contract and was let go because he was shit. Could play CB or LB but in reality could do neither.

Watch his contribution to their 2nd goal and his falling over as he crossed the ball that led to the 3rd.

The difference in the pitch between then & now is incredible.

That was my first thought. The pitch is a disgrace at the moment (through no fault of Cassidy, it sounds).

Sheridan must have asked for the pitch to be like Oldham's. Couldn't understand the how much worse it had got by the Oxford from the Northampton game when we had 10 days of pretty dry weather but is was covered in sand.

Doyle got his 14th goal for Bolton today. Also seen they have shrugged off their poor start to the season and now closing in on the autos. Would be brilliant to have a league 1 fixture next season against Bolton and get a packed CG showing their thanks to ginger pele

I did notice that Bolton had quietly sneaked within distance of the top three and was thinking the same that it would be great to give him an ovation next season if we managed to play them.

I discovered today that Petr Mikolanda was until recently managing in something called the 'Bohemian League' in Czechia, which sounds like something Conor off Loather Strangers definitely watches.

Bohemia is part of the Czech Republic, so it makes sense.

...and for those who don't have the time, OSC events will be going on the LSPOD feed too - starting with this one (I believe).

That's pretty cool. I like that Rich. Always good to have somewhere to watch back on.

26 years ago today (apparently) we sold Fjortoft to Boro, I was gutted, even wrote a letter to complain!

Likewise 21 years ago we sold Chris Hay to Uddersfield.

I remember that Fjortoft sale so well. I was sat in the computer room at uni, supposedly writing up my dissertation, but was on tenterhooks hoping it didn't happen. Who did we sign to fill the void - Terry Gibson ffs.  I seem to recall being involved in some group letter of outrage that ended up in the adver.
