Not sure where to post this, thought about a new thread of greatest Swindon goals or best games.

Yesterday was the 28th anniversary of this game vs WBA in the LC, 2 of the best goals in a game I have seen, absolutely brilliantly scored by the great Town legend Duncan Shearer.

If you are too young to have seen then then watch it and thank me later Smiley both amazing quality finishing from one of the best strikers ever to grace a Town shirt.

Yesterday was also the 7th anniversary of us going to Stoke and beating them 4-3 in the LC AET while we were in L1 and Stoke were in the Prem.

Sadly 28th not 18th....

Time is a funny old thing... the Stoke game also now feels like ancient history when relatively speaking it's a lot more recent than the Baggies game.  I guess it's something like it was the last time, we did anything in the LC, a comp in which we have had some great nights down the years, but now just don't.

Absolutely 100% agree with you,  was at this game and this goal will always be in my top 3 Town goals ever seen,  together with Glenn Hoddles, think it was v Sunderland at the CG,  and Rory Fallons against the Slavetraders.

I loved the way Hoddle would hit that long pass with side spin, so it would go 40 yards, bounce and gently roll sideways into the path of the runner

Kenny Stroud vs Everton in 77 is also up there as is Marlon Broomes 35 yarder vs Brum in 96.

3 mins 30 seconds in for Stroudys goal.

57 seconds in for Broomes cracker.

Nothing beats King Kenny's goal. Don't you just love the 360° turn that he did just before the goal as well? Classy player.
I used to love watching him play, especially when he went on one of his dribbles from our penalty area before firing off a 20-30 yard shot.

5 mins 50 secs into this. A good goal, not quite the quality of the others mentioned for me though, but a good strike.
