Perfection is not attainable

Or he's asking for too much money which they don't think an injury prone striker is worth?
Calderwood said they decided against offering him a contract he doesnt state if demands were too high, like D'Ath asked for too much. Apparently Obika is up at St Mirren on trial already.

I thought that too, he may need longer out of the game to get back to a level of fitness required in League football.

Cambridge and Stevenage are more desperate for striker than we are.

Cambridge have now signed Sam Smith on loan from Reading. Very excited about it. I've seen him in the flesh and he was absolute garbage. Oxford had him last year and were equally as excited... He was sent back early.

Be interesting to see how he goes... definitely good enough for 3/4, can he step up?

We had an embarrassment of riches when he was here and I thought he was the best of the lot. Gutted when he left.

Don't think Mr Di Canio treated him that well either!

Well the player himself certainly holds no grudges if the above is true...
