Well done Lingy, lovely bloke and a Town hero.

Reading the first part about that sounds so bloody familiar to me, I have been there a few times myself and had exactly the same thought process.

So glad hes come through it and hopefully he is stronger as I know I am form the experience.

Top bloke, have loads of time for him.

Canice Carroll back at The CG next weekend, having signed a season-long loan with Carlisle.

That's a shame, but Lyden > Carroll. Based on absolutely nothing but wishful thinking.

If RW wanted him he would be here.

As soon as we got the Norwich winger in on loan, taking it to 4 I knew it wouldn’t happen as the 5th will probably be used on a ST or GK.

Hope he does well for them as he was always committed, gave 100% and get the dirty work.

However I want him to play RB against us next week Wink

Lingy was a Town legend as a player and improbably, at least had it lasted a tad longer, our best recent manager.

Most importantly though a very decent human being.  Good luck to him

That injury must have hit him hard if he's failing trials at Stevenage and Cambridge.

I thought that too, he may need longer out of the game to get back to a level of fitness required in League football.

Cambridge and Stevenage are more desperate for striker than we are.

Or he's asking for too much money which they don't think an injury prone striker is worth?
