Who’s going to be the first to pipe up saying that the money is going in Powers back pocket?

It actually might do.

Its just that his pocket must have a hole in it, as I can't believe we broke even last year - so would be fair enough.

As a fan of course I want to see a sizeable wad invested into a player or two. That view is understandable.

Done deal according to Middlesborough, £7m in total, but that includes a £5m fee up front and £2m of add-ons.

Still should be a nice little sell on fee for Power/Swindon.

Poor deal for City given the current crazy transfer climate. I thought they'd have managed to get £10m. The sell on should cover LP's planning/consultancy fees for his purchase of the ground.

Given how old he is i’d say that is not a bad bit of business. Also there just may be a sell on clause for the slave traders, doubtful but you never know.

£6m 'deal' according to the Northern Echo:

Just watching an old episode of ‘Can’t pay, we’ll take it away’. I’m sure the ex premiere league player being chased for money owed to a dog kennel is an ex town player. Rather large shorts comes to mind.....
And a vicious wife ....  probably more vicious than the dog he promised to pay for.

Still no confirmation of this.... normally if they're having a medical, it's official a few hours later.

Perhaps the medical has flagged up that he is a bit of a wanker??
