Sean Morrison wins promotion to the Premier League and wins player of the season for Cardiff.

Aden Flint gets all the media noise, Sean Morrison gets the job done.
Do we have a percentage of all future transfers with Reading? 😉

Rohan Ince out of contract at Brighton end of May. His Bury stint didn’t do him any favours.

As I’ve said elsewhere, how would it had gone down had Power sold Morrison for £250k.

If memory serves, there was criticism of the deal at the time (especially as it was relatively soon to us losing Greer similarly cheaply. But there wasn’t the same levels of hysteria as we’ve come to expect from every transfer window nowadays

When Morrison went, it was because a transfer fee clause was triggered. We had no choice. From memory, he developed pretty quickly and nobody would have thought he'd go as far as he has when the contract would have been made.

A Danny Wilson signing wasn't he? From Plymouth, I think?!

Edit: Was a David Bryne/Andrew Fitton signing.

Morrison was a perfect example of an agent playing a blinder for his client... he would only sign a contract if a reasonable buy out clause was included.... he was seen as the succesor to Greer, so needed game time, and as a raw youngster the relatively modest £250K seemed sensible.  Hindsight and all that..

Ey?

We picked up Morrison from Pilgrim Youths. If you're getting mixed up with Flint....we signed him from Alfreton Town. My neck of the woods.
