Blasphemy. I think you're missing the best one.
If you are referring to Sir Don, then of course the best player during my time but he was so much more than just a goal scorer. Interesting his goals per game record for us was 0.36 (178/490), which is the same as Chalky (111/312) as opposed to Eastoe at 0.47 (43/91), Mayes 0.45 (83/184), Super Sam 0.51 (73/142), Cox 0.53 (43/81) and Austin 0.57 (31/54). Shearer also excellent at 0.49 (98/199).

Just after he was with us I heard he was a bit of a bully to the youngsters, it was about the time that his former assistant Ian Cluverhouse was accused (and eventually sacked from Villa) for exactly the same thing. I put the comments about KM down to being at Villa with IC and "tarring with the same brush" as Culverhouse but it appears there was more to it than that.

That's surprised me. I had him down as being too nice for the job.

Probably because they wouldn't get bullied anymore!

From what I remember he was a good player. He just had injury problems, and liked big buts.
Was funny when he called Morshead podgy, though.

Good luck super Bill.. Cashed in when he could and never happened for him after he left. Always remember that day at Elland Road. Is there a fire drill?!

The way he left, left a bitter taste. But, a 3 year contract on 8k a week i’d have done the same!
Well worth the investment, 400k a goal. Only scored 3.
Him and Austin best partnership since Shearer and White mind
