Some interesting discussion about it on their forum!
Many have given him man of the match and calling for a contract. Hilarious.

Did you see the match? Maybe he played well. Always remember Northampton fans telling us how shit Sam Parkin was when he signed for us, he fit in quite well here. Rodgers was terrible here, maybe he's found a better fit at Celtic? Or maybe he just had a one-off purple patch game. It happens

Or maybe they were taking the piss?

From the Daily Record's coverage:

"19:05
Rodgers struggling to get on the ball

Anton Rodgers is the deep-lying midfielder in this Hoops’ second half XI. The manager’s son is only here for the fitness, we’re told, and has struggled to make much of an impression despite a few tidy touches.

James Forrest is the latest to go close but his shot from the edge of the box is blocked. Still goalless with 12 minutes to go."

I agree.

Tackling, not giving the ball away and heading is the problem.

I like the fact that the Advertiser have to point out in the caption that a Town player is playing in red!

I assume he is no longer at Liverpool or he has a bitch of a commute every morning from Plymouth!

He is still under contract at Liverpool for another year.
