Simon Cox and Robson-Kanu to be released by Reading
Kanu is being watched by WBA and Sunderland, Cox will find himself a Championship level team I am sure.

Cox looks mega unfit... Although could be worth a punt if we sell Ajose. I'm guessing he'll be way too old and expensive.

Kaid joined Town in 2007.

Whatever happened to Chris Blackburn.....?

Anton Ferdinand also released by Reading, apparently hes been very unfit so would he consider a drop to our league to be the exerienced CB we need?

No course he wouldn't then again neither would Cox consider a move here IMO and neither would fit Powers criteria for new signings.....but weirder things have happened.

He was, he went on to have a shortish career in non-league/lower leagues with Aldershot, Telford and WXM retiring 4 years ago now at the age of 29.

Are Reading really short of cash or something (I suppose those catchy tunes don't come cheaply!), Robson Kanu just been named in the Wales provisional squad for the Euro's?

No, hes refused to sign a new contract as he wants to play in the Prem, which a free transfer move and a good showing in the Euros will get him....he thinks.

Robson-Kanu is probably a case of wanting to progress elsewhere while he still can.

Alas, Coxy hasn't had a great time over the last few seasons. He'll be looking to the lower reaches of The Championship for first team football. I could see him at a club like Millwall if they won the PO's.

Unless he fancies some low wages and Irish football at dear ol' Swindon, of course.

Hes been injured a lot this season as he was with us and all his time at Carlisle, shame as he seemed to be very promising when we signed him, how careers can change quickly with injuries.
