http://www.playwithalegend.com/#!legends/c66t You can pay to play a game of football with Micky Hazard, if you so wish. Quite a lot of other famous people too, but Micky is the only Swindon link there as far as I can see. Can we book him for Gazza's TEF BBQ? David Thompson?

You wouldn't want Frank Sinclair on your team - own goals galore!

David Thompson?
Think it may have been his debut v MBoro, in a Div 2 top of the table clash back in about this time of year 97 (maybe 98) 15,000+ in the CG....(capacity before a number of seats were randomly removed). For about half an hour, him and Kevin Watson, ran the show we went 1 up through George Ndah, and I thought we could be onto something. Unfortunately in the second half Fraser shanked a clearance to Merson, who had the class to score....e-Merson got a late winner and it's been downhill since

Wasn't that Ndah's debut? Possibly just his first goal.
Remember that game very clearly, marked the start of a dramatic plummet down the table. Wonder if it would have been a different season if we had got something out of that game.

She's under no illusions that everything since has been her fault.

....e-Merson got a late winner
And the best chant that our fans could come up with that day was "Emerson..homosexual" on repeat. It was the 90's therefore acceptable. Rather than a homophobic insult. Actually I've never really had a problem with homophobic insults. I really don't have any anti-gay feelings whatsoever but for some reason I don't associate the insults with being genuinely anti gay. Wonder if that's how my grandparents felt about their racist tendencies. Anyway, I digress.

Edit: Perhaps not - would have been the start of the season for those two and no doubt Cuervo would have been injured and Darras (RIP) suspended.
