I'm sure this was mentioned back when it happened but I have only just realised Luke Rooney is at Luton.

James Milner tells City he wants to leave with Arsenal and Liverpool interested.
An interesting subplot is that it would leave City with only Joe Hart and Gael Clichy as first team homegrown players- considering they need to have right in their already cut down 21 man CL squad and there's a real chance Financial Fair Play might accidentally achieve something.

They did but as he came through Arsenal's academy he is classed as 'home grown'.

Home Grown is based upon the nation they were trained at not the club. 33.7 Home Grown Players. Each Club shall, with effect from the commencement of Season 2011/2012 be required to nominate a minimum of six Home Grown Players on their Team Sheet of Players for all League Competition Matches (including Play Off Matches).
33.8 'Home Grown Player' shall mean a Player who irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with:-
33.8.1 his current Club; and/or
33.8.2 a Club and/or any other football club affiliated to the Football Association or the Football Association of Wales, for a period, continuous or not of three Seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday (or the end of the Season during which he turns 21). For the purposes of this definition of Home Grown Player only, a Season will be deemed to commence on the date on which the first Transfer Window in that Season closes and expire on the date of the final League Match of the Season.
33.9 For the purposes of Regulation 33.8.2, but not otherwise, a Player who was at all times registered with a Club (or club) affiliated to the Football Association of Wales shall be treated as having been registered with a Club (or club) affiliated to The Football Association, and vice versa.

Laurie Sanchez gets his Greek club Apollon Smyrni F.C. relegated despite Darren Ambrose getting 6 in 11 games. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ergotelis_F.C. - Badge been Elliot Benyon'd?

Callum Kennedy, last seen sporting massive great bushy beard similar to Alan McCormacks, released by Wimbledon. Nearly joined o**ord last summer hope he avoids that fate again

The 'hipster' beard is really not a good look on some people.

The one that got away. Danny Hollands joins Pompey on two year deal. I know we are chock a block with midfielders but would have been nice to see him lining up for Town again

Danny Hollands move to Portsmouth suggests approximately nothing about Swindon Town or it's finances.
Swindon Town's current tug-of-war tells us all we need to know, no need to look elsewhere.

Becoming quite the scare-monger aren't you Ollie? Maybe we weren't interested, and do you think it would say the same for the finances of all other teams in L1?
