Brilliant to see Morrison play a full match today in the Prem...and looked ok. Could get a good run in the team now.
I liked him while he was here.
Good for him. Of course that fixture will be Championship next season. Hope he kicks on.

And just noted on Sky Text that Arsenal are heading the list to make a January bid

And just noted on Sky Text that Arsenal are heading the list to make a January bid Yep and according to the Arsenal Forum it will take a bid of between £8 and £10 million to get him. Who said he would never ever be good enough to play in the Premiership and the fee would never be anywhere near that when I mentioned it last week?

Not me Pete.
Pleased he even seems to have grown up a bit too. To applaud the Townend who had given him shit for most of the game against Burnley showed some humility IMO. Especially as he'd just lost! I know he was probably expecting some crap but i was pretty surprised/impressed.

No he has grown up a lot P69 I think he will do well with them. Austin will not go for £8million. I personally don't think he can cut it in the premiership, but has surprised me this season in the championship.

"allegedly" Arsene has got £36 million to spend.... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/arsene-wenger-is-not-afraid-to-spend-1347110The thing with Austin is that hes English so thats a bonus for Premier League clubs with the Home Grown rule so some clubs will spend a bit more on English players than the equivalent foreign players. But yes Arsenal are not reknown of late for spending a penny

Burnley want to at least match what they got for Rodriguez.
I wonder how big the sell on clause is.

Arsenal don't really have that many home grown players compared to some of the other clubs in the prem. Even in the Carling cup there team was made up of foreigners where as a few years ago it was all young british kids.
