A guy that worked at one of my old companies was a youth team player at Aston Villa in the early 80's.   He was there when Villa won the European Cup, and at the celebration party got very pissed & threw up on Doug Ellis' shoes.  (well that was his story anyway).

Suffice it to say, he never made it at Villa  Smiley



As for me, I was pretty shit at football and didn't play, as a result I spent most of my time watching Swindon at weekends.

Can't remember his name to be honest, it was 20 years ago.

I think he was working for the recruitment agency (Tamar or Sandersons) at the time

I had trials at Bristol City, Rovers and Reading.

That was pretti darn good considering im fucking useless at football hence why Swindon saw sense and didnt bother Cheesy
