As a Banbury fan also, i am most disappointed by him signing there.

Its the equivalent of signing for Oxford!

I live in Chipping Norton.

Said i will volunteer a bit there next season as i work shifts so have loads of spare time to do a bit. They have appointed a new manager today after Andy Whing unexpectedly quit the other week

I find it a lot more enjoyable to honest, beer at the side of the pitch, good craic etc

As a Stroud Robin, I also recommend Thrupp & Brimscombe AFC for a day out: cheese and onion baps (£1 last season); Stroud Brewery beer; lovely views; Stroud Brewery on the canal towpath nearby; watch the trains if you get bored or walk around the pitch; a bar of sorts with tea too and a telly for the scores; if you get the train from Swindon then it's only a 45 minute walk along the towpath. If anyone fancies it next season then I'll willingly meet up if available.

When I’m in Stroud this is one of my favourite routines, especially the Stroud brewery part!
